Timmothy Pitzen katosi äitinsä kanssa kesken normaalin arkipäivän vuonna 2011. Vaikka äidin kohtalo on myöhemmin selvinnyt, ei kenelläkään ole tietoa siitä missä Timmothy on tai mitä hänelle on tapahtunut. Timmothyn tapaus on ollut otsikoissa viimeksi vuoden 2019 keväällä, kun tutkijat uskoivat löytäneensä Timmothyn.
