A.C.A.S.T.......

After two weeks of intense bombardment on the Gaza Strip,

Israel is entering a new phase of its attack this weekend.

It is now advancing with soldiers in the north of the Palestinian territory.

But what is Israel's strategy today and why is it so critical?

Hi, it's Hugo.

I hope you're doing well.

It's the subject of one of today's news.

The war is now entering a new phase.

This is what the Israeli government said this Saturday,

after a Saturday night marked by intense bombardment

and by an offensive by the Israeli army directly in the Palestinian territory of Gaza.

We now count more than 8,300 killed on the Palestinian side

and 1,400 killed on the Israeli side most of the time during the attack on October 7.

This indicates the last figures of the Palestinian Ministry of Health

led by Hamas and the Israeli government.

Besides, among the Palestinian deaths, more than 3,000 killed would be children,

according to the UNG Save the Children.

On the other hand, the Internet has been cut off in Gaza for more than 36 hours this weekend

due to Israeli strikes, which further and further concerns the UNG

of human rights and this while the humanitarian situation in Gaza is already catastrophic.

We have been talking about it for several days and we will continue to talk about it.

So what is Israel's strategy?

How does Hamas want to respond?

And what are the critiques addressed to this Israeli strategy?

Publicly, the Israeli government displays a triple objective.

First, to destroy Hamas.

This is the term that is used.

Hamas is at the origin of the massacre of October 7 in Israel and being in power in Gaza.

Second, the objective is to publicly display, to protect its borders.

And finally, the third objective is to free the Israeli and foreign hostages

held by Hamas or other allied groups.

There would be around more than 200 still today.

So we will see how Hamas tries to respond.

But here is what the Israeli policy is about for the moment.

First of all, we obviously talked about these last few days.

Intensive bombings have been carried out.

And the objective displayed publicly by the Israeli army

was to eliminate Hamas infrastructure located on the surface.

The Israeli army also indicated to have hit 150 underground targets in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Israel thinks that Hamas directs and organizes its operations

since a huge network of underground tunnels.

And also, Hamas accuses the QG of building underground Gaza hospitals.

These bombings intensified these last few days,

training thousands of killed people.

Then, there is a second phase,

which is publicly declared by the Israeli army.

It is the idea to gather information directly on the ground

via the first entrances and the first combats in the Gaza Strip.

And this, in view of a third phase, is a massive incursion.

According to Kobe Michael,

who is a researcher at the National Institute for Strategic Studies

and who is interviewed by Luffy Garot in an article that I put in the description,

the Israeli army is creating new corridors to avoid existing routes,

potentially trap routes,

and therefore to try to allow these troops to penetrate Gaza.

In any case, the Israeli army ordered the inhabitants of the north of Gaza

to flee to the south,

and they now consider the Gaza Strip,

the city located north of the Gaza Strip,

as a battlefield.

The problem is that the south of the Gaza Strip,

it was also targeted by bombing these last few days.

On the other hand, Hamas announced this Sunday

violent combat with automatic and anti-share weapons,

still in the north of Gaza at the moment.

This is therefore for the organization of the Israeli army,

but then, what is Hamas doing?

Well, Hamas's military branch said this Saturday

that it was ready to release the hostages

that it had removed in Israel,

so nearly 230 people, Israeli and foreign,

in exchange for the liberation of all Palestinians

imprisoned in Israel.

These prisoners would be about 10,000.

These are leaders and members of Hamas,

as well as leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad,

which is another movement.

There are also parliamentarians, journalists,

or even teachers, to note that Hamas

estimates that about 50 hostages were killed

in the Israeli bombing in Gaza.

It is, however, a number,

an affirmation that is hard to verify today.

In any case, on this, Israel has already declared

that it did not intend to trust him

on the release of hostages.

So this military strategy led by Israel

has made a lot of debates

within the different governments of the entire world,

and this for two reasons.

First reason, this military operation

is clearly denounced by the UNG of Defense

and by the UNG of Defense of Human Rights,

as well as by the United Nations Organization.

Indeed, the total siege imposed by Israel,

cutting water, electricity, or gas supply,

is so legal in the eyes of international law.

By the way, I was saying,

the massive bombing these last few days

killed thousands of people,

including nearly 3,000 children.

In short, the main criticism is the following.

Israel is accused of a massive attack,

not making the distinction

between civilians and Hamas,

in a communique

spread by the United Nations Organization

and signed by several experts.

It is also mentioned a risk of genocide

against the Palestinian people.

We will have the opportunity to mention again

in the next few days the question of these terms.

Finally, second criticism that we can note,

some believe that the two objectives of Israel,

at the same time destroying the infrastructure

of Hamas and releasing hostages,

are two objectives in some way incompatible.

Indeed, according to many massive invasions

in the course of preparation,

it would make it difficult to release hostages.

In any case, the General Assembly

of the United Nations Organization

called on Friday to a large majority,

an immediate humanitarian dream,

asking, in particular,

the immediate supply of water, food,

fuel, electricity, or access

without access to the aid.

By the way, for the first time,

the United States called Israel to make the distinction

between Hamas and the Palestinian civilians.

I leave you with Lea for the news.

Thank you Hugo and hello everyone.

We start with this act.

In Russia, several dozen people

were introduced to force this Sunday

in the airport of Makachkala,

the capital of the Russian Republic

of Dagestan, which is a Muslim majority.

These people were erupted on the roof of the airport

and on the tarmac,

while an avion in the province of Israel

had to land there.

After the videos shared on Telegram,

they were in the search for Israeli and Jews.

60 people were arrested,

9 policemen were injured,

and the airport

was temporarily closed.

This incident occurred while

many anti-Semitic acts were recorded

these last days in the Russian Caucasus.

The second act in France, this time,

where a powerful storm,

the Kiaran storm,

will affect the country on Wednesdays.

Wind gusts, perhaps more than 150 km

are expected

along the coasts, in particular in Brittany,

and at 100 km in the interior of the lands.

The big northwest quarter of France,

which will be affected by this violent storm,

therefore from Brittany and the countries of the law

to the top of France,

passing through Normandy and the island of France.

Some predict a storm as powerful

as the one in 1999.

We will keep you informed.

Third act, still in France, Emmanuel Macron

announced that he would set up this week

a law project to register

the right to live in the Constitution,

the supreme law of the country.

In fact, currently, the right to abortion

is recognized as an ordinary law.

The fact of registering in the Constitution

therefore complicates all attempts

to remove it or limit it.

This measure is inscribed in a context of restriction

of this right in the world,

especially after the annulation of the arrest

guaranteed in the United States,

the right to abortion on the entire territory.

Fourth act, we wanted to come back

on the incidents that led this Sunday

to the annulation of the football game

between the Olympique Lyonnais and the Olympique de Marseille.

In fact, the bus that transported the team

from Vélodrome to Marseille was violently

crushed. The windows exploded

and several people were injured

where the coach from Lyon, Fabio Grosso

who had to go to the hospital,

the face in blood. Another Lyonnais bus

was also attacked,

injured several people on board.

In the end, five policemen were injured

and nine people were placed in guard

to announce the Minister of the Interior

Gérald Darmanin.

Other information about the football,

Luis Rubiales, the former president

of the Spanish football team, was suspended

by the FIFA of all activities

linked to football at the national and

international level for three years.

He had dismissed last month after

being accused of having embraced

by force the Spanish player Jennifer Hermoso

during the victory of Spain

at the Women's World Cup on the 28th.

Fifth act, more than 70 associations

including the UNG Médecins du Monde

alert on the risk of social cleaning

of the streets of Paris

and the Olympic Games of 2024.

The associations feared

the fact that the organization of the J.O.O.

trains, among other things,

at the disposal of homeless people

and at the reduction of emergency places.

According to Paul Halosy, the spokesperson

of Médecins du Monde for the Paris region

interviewed by the AFP,

I quote, we are talking about hundreds,

even thousands of people who have destroyed

informal places of life.

These associations therefore ask to integrate

the J.O.O. driving committees

in order to bring their skills to the field.

In Iran, Armita Garawand,

16 years old, who had fallen in the coma

at the beginning of October in the Metro

of Tehran, the capital of the country

and died this Saturday, according to a local media.

According to the UNG, the teenager

had been severely injured by the police

of the murders, who was charged

to apply the obligation for women

to carry the voice in public in Iran.

According to a witness interviewed by

the British media The Guardian,

Armita did not wear her scarf

at the time of the incident. But the authorities

said that she would have had a drop of tension

before falling into the subway. So this

affair, she intervened a little more than a year

after the death of Massa Amini,

a 22-year-old young girl who had been

arrested by the police of the murders

because she did not wear her scarf correctly

before she died three days later.

In the seventh act, the American actor

Matthew Perry, who incarnated Chandler

in the Friends series and died this Saturday

at the age of 54 years old.

The results of toxicological reports are expected

in the next few weeks to determine

the cause of his death. Matthew Perry

fought for years against his addiction

to anti-sickness and alcohol.

At the release of his death, several people

came to him to spontaneously pay tribute

in front of the Immobile New Yorkers,

who appeared in the Friends series.

The eighth act, Meta, the Facebook house,

Instagram and WhatsApp, will offer

subscribers paying to the European

users of Facebook and Instagram

in November. So these subscriptions

that will not be mandatory will cost

between 9.99€ and 12.99€

and they will allow to delete

advertising on these platforms.

Meta took this decision to conform

to the European law on personal data

and targeted advertising.

We will have the opportunity to talk about it.

For the first time, the embryos

of mice were cultivated in space

aboard the International Space Station

and they were developed

normally according to a study published

in the iScience review.

These researches on the reproduction

of mammals in space are crucial for

exploration of the solar system.

They indicate that it could be possible

for man to reproduce in space

according to the scientists.
